Mel certainly don't know the outcome till the cookie crumbles but I personally would love to challenge Artie in a hook. The only thing is no more starting in a hook for me,if i was to challenge anyone else it would be straight up more like a regular start. More satisfaction upon VICTORY! Rick is different in the fact we never get past go in a regular tournement.

Starting in a hook..I don't either of you will be blowing through one another. You both have strong hands and wrists but starting in a hook takes that all away...
Goes to show what you know about hooking and why Artie trashed you last month.

The hand is important but there is a huge difference in starting a match this way or starting straight up. I like to hook left handed, but I still could not start the match in the hook position, I need to be able to smash it in. Give Tim a go straight up in a regular match and see how good your hand feels then..

Nicely said Melvin. Tim being the same needs to smash into it! Looking for a Tim and Ed match up tomorow will likely be a different match.

I wrestle with every part of my body involved. I intentionaly train to maintain a tight position and hold everything together. The position my hand was in was not unusual, the absence of my shoulder in with it was. I am grateful to have wrestled with Ed at Bud's and have learned a great deal about the mechanics involved in our matches. I got ten times as much information from the end result than if I would have if I would have won with ease. I do not lose, I learn. I have no one in particular I am out to match up with. I want to be bad news for all.
Thanks Ed! Because of what I have learned I will train to be a 154lb monster in a hook
Gotta love this game!!!!!
In respect to the main topic on this post. Way to go Mark!!!! All us valley boys know how strong you are in close. We should send Rick and the boys some cows to milk and some wood to split, than their hands wouldn't be so soft and fragile.

Thanks again Rick looking forward to a straight up match now in a tournement!
